We seek to bring transformation to financially disadvantaged people using our skills, talents and resources. We do this through the Acuity Professional Foundation with the aim to overcome poverty through creating and supporting jobs and businesses.
Acuity Professional Foundation
By promoting the growth of SMEs, we aim to bring about lasting social transformation by creating opportunities for people to work towards a better future for themselves, their families and the wider community.
Focusing initially in Kenya, The Acuity Professional Foundation provides investment, management support, business strategy advice and training.
Through the work of the Acuity Professional Foundation, we leverage the experience of the Chairman and CEO of the Acuity Professional Group, Stuart McGreevy.
Having previously started and listed a UK financial services company valued at £225 million, Stuart then founded Acuity Professional. He has employed both of these business pursuits to help better the lives of people in the world’s poorest communities, and provide them with on-the-ground support.
Transformation Business Network (TBN)
In 2003, Stuart founded TBN – a group of entrepreneurs and investors focused on driving development. Since its inception, TBN has grown into an international movement, with a network of more than 2,000 members across 7 countries.
To date, TBN has created more than 1,500 jobs, generated over £55m in investment, and helped more than 60 entrepreneurs scale their businesses from the ground up
The Lunchbowl Network
Stuart also set up The Lunchbowl Network which provides food, education and support to orphaned and vulnerable children living in Kibera, Nairobi.
Kings Rugby Development Academy
The Kings Rugby Development Academy provides disadvantaged children from the Kibera slums in Kenya with opportunities to participate in rugby. The programme also gives the children some of the life skills that will help them to build a better future for themselves.
